Howdy, Partner! Do you spend your days reminiscing about long rides on a pack horse, or practicing your roping skills for the next Stampede? Do you think cowboy boots are appropriate footwear for any occasion, and won’t go anywhere without your hat?
You’re in the right place!
The Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation was officially organized in 1980 by fifty founding members comprising of ranchers, farmers and individuals who wanted to commemorate the Canadian livestock industry. With over 50,000 archived brand records, a specialized collection of books, artwork & artifacts, and a travelling branding experience, we host various programs throughout the year for students, seniors and the public. By highlighting Alberta’s storied past and the enduring influence of ranching and cowboy culture, the Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation aims to inspire the next generation of cowpunchers.
