Melba Copithorne was a treasured member of the Stockmen’s. Born in Saskatchewan, but like many drawn to the ranching county of Southern Alberta with the Rockies as it’s pictured backdrop. She was one of the few ladies to have ridden on both Hooves of History cattle drives and in the past number of years enjoyed visiting the Stockmen’s on Thursdays during our Cowboy Coffee. Our deepest condolences to all of Melba’s family as she will be missed.
