Tom Gilchrist was a Stockman; a manager of water, grass, and cattle – a steward of the land. One of the objectives of the Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation is to honour the builders of the livestock industry.
We can think of no other rancher more deserving of being honored, than Tom. The Stockmen’s will miss Tom and are thankful for his many contributions since being one of the founding members of our organization in 1980. Our deepest condolences to Lois and the rest of the Gilchrist family.
