Experience true cowboy culture with this hands-on branding experience at the Stockmen’s Memorial Foundation in the Bert Sheppard Library at Cochrane RancheHouse.
Starting with a quick and entertaining history lesson about the Wild West (and it was WILD), you’ll learn how a livestock brand represented a ranching family’s identity. Discover the branding alphabet and how to design your own meaningful mark.
Finally, you’ll head out to the fire with our ranch hands to burn your new mark onto a keepsake piece of barn wood.
